When was your bakery established?
European American Baking Co. first opened on September 22, 1977 in Fort Myers. Our Bakery Café opened when we moved to our new location on Metro Pkwy. On July 14, 2001.

What products and services do you offer?
We offer breads, roll, pastries and cakes to customers at our bakery café as well as select wholesale items to area food establishments. Our services include dine-in and take-out, catering and wholesale delivery.

What are your hours?
Our bakery café hours are currently Monday – Friday 6 am – 6 pm and Saturday 8 am – 2 pm. We serve breakfast all day until 3 pm and lunch from 10:30 – 3 pm. Our after 3 menu and pastry or bread selection is available from open to close.

Do you ship your products?
We currently can ship some products upon request. Coming soon we will be adding a internet catalog of all the items that will be available to ship across the United States.

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, we sell gift cards in any demoninations. They are available for purchase in our bakery café or can be ordered online and mailed. Gift cards have no expiration and are re-loadable. They are good for any bakery café or catering purchase.

What is the best way to keep my bread?
We use no preservatives in our breads. They are best eaten that day or by the following day. However, if you wish to keep your bread longer, most of our breads freeze well. Place bread in tightly wrapped freezer bag and store for up to one month. It is important that you put what is left of the product in the freezer as soon as possible to ensure the best taste when you thaw it out.

Where are you from?
The founders, owners and management are run by the same family since we opened in 1977. Founders Sam and Zlata Savich are from Yuguslavia. They learned their baking from other bakers from around the world and thru generations of baking.
