Our mission at European American Bakery Cafe is to make the best tasting food and food that makes you feel good, using quality, natural ingredients. That's why we taste every key ingredient and every finished product before it makes it on our menu. We source products not for their price but for their taste. We mix, bake and cook, all from scratch, because we know you'll taste the difference--that's what we call bakery fresh.

Our Story

Our founders emigrated from their native eastern European country of Macedonia, the former Yugoslavia, and set out to create food the only way they knew how...fresh. They grew a successful bakery in Detroit Michigan for years, before moving to warmer weather in Florida. Serving Fort Myers, since 1977 our passion never stops. 

What started out as a wholesale bakery delivering to restaurants throughout the area, grew into the full service cafe we have today. From mixing and baking goods by hand daily, to enabling our chefs to bring you the best breakfast and lunch.  Our dishes are thoughtfully created, combining original recipes with unique takes on classics. Our team carries our tradition forward with the same integrity and commitment to exceptional food and friendly service.
